Insurance
The Organizer of 35th ETA Meeting has public liability insurance which covers all injuries to persons during the event
Nevertheless you are kindly asked to acquire sufficient insurance – health and accident insurance is recommended. Please make arrangements for insurance coverage through your company’s insurer.
Weather
Krakow enjoys a mild continental climate with low humidity. The average temperature in September is about 15 degrees of Celcius, with evening temperature about 5 degrees of Celcius (it may sometimes drop to 0 degrees). We advise you to take an umbrella.

Air travel
Krakow’s John Paul II International Airport of Balice is situated conveniently on the outskirts of the city, just 15km (about 10 miles) from its centre. It has regular direct air connections from and to most major European and American hubs.

Taxi service

Currency
The local currency, Polish zloty (PLN), is convertible. The exchange rate in Krakow hotels and exchange offices may differ (1 PLN = about 0,26 Euro; 1Euro = about 3,91 PLN).
Credit cards
Visa, EC/MC credit cards are accepted in most of the shops and petrol stations. American Express, Diners cards only in few of them.
Electricity
The voltage in Poland is 230V, 50 Hz AC. People arriving from UK will need plug adaptors.
